The Story
The course actually, from my experience, provided me with the basic knowledge that I didn’t think of when I was in trading for a number of years and it gave me the foundation to be able to look at charts to know the basic fundamentals. And today having acquired the knowledge, I can easily go to any websites that talk about technical analysis and to be able to pick it up and understand what they say. And then to be able to look at some of the technical analysis report to be able to identify whether how valid it is, how true it is and what position should I take.
So one of the other things that I’ve learnt from the ChartNexus program, apart from all the technical analysis and indicators was setting up the profit management or the money management, which was the ESP, E for Entry, S for stop-loss and P for profit. Pretty much evident that when I completed the course, sometimes you tend to sway away but not being able to execute your stop-loss and that is where continuous learning and this is something they have taught us.
They also provide forum where we can come back and update ourselves. So for me to make use of this, I look at the forum everyday and that forum actually helps me to look at what are the stocks in the rotation play without spending a lot of time. And the other thing that I do is I use the XPertTrader to screen out for stocks, screen out the volume and that helps me to zoom out stocks.
One thing that after learning through ChartNexus, participating in the forum and looking at the market, I realized that there is actually every counter that you can trade for almost every day depending on whether the Dow Jones is up or down. In the past I would stay away from the market when Dow Jones was down, but today almost every day you can trade because there are stocks that actually go up during downturn. So this is what I’ve learnt from ChartNexus and for all the people that have been considering or beginners, this is something you might want to consider to take up, at least it gives you the foundation and trading community access.
